Meet The Founder
Manju M Hinduja
Manju’s journey in the world of fashion began in 1986 as a student of Fashion Design at Sophia College, Mumbai. She later graduated from Mithibai College of Arts & Science with a major in Psychology, showcasing her diverse academic background.
Driven by a passion for continuous learning and skill development, Manju entered the garment export industry, where she quickly made her mark. From liaising with international buyers to mastering the intricacies of production, quality management, and the overall supply chain, she proved her expertise across various departments. With over two decades of experience in garment exports, her business expanded to reach clients worldwide.
In 2010, a shift in the export market led her to Bangladesh, where she spent five years refining her skills before returning to India in 2015 for a new chapter in her career. Her interest in handlooms deepened after her brother’s marriage to Radhika Hinduja, a member of a family that cherishes the rich tradition of handloom sarees.
Upon her return, Manju found herself naturally drawn to the world of handlooms, where she embarked on a journey to explore India’s weaving hubs and gain an understanding of the challenges faced by the weavers and the industry as a whole. Her mission is clear: to preserve this rich legacy and pass it on to future generations.
