Leena Parekh

Hi, I’m Indus Diva Leena Parekh, a true Chennaite at heart, having lived in this vibrant city all my life. I’m married to Mr. Raaj, and together we have two wonderful children—our daughter, Anannya, and our son, Avnish.

From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to the world of design and creativity. Whether it was crafting unique items or experimenting with fashion, my love for creating something new has always fueled my passion. Over the years, my interests have blossomed in several areas: interiors, fashion, and thoughtful gifting.

These days, I consult on interior design projects, helping to bring beauty and harmony into homes. Additionally, I curate personalized gift hampers under my brand The Present Place, where each hamper is thoughtfully crafted to create a memorable experience.
When it comes to fashion, fabrics hold a special place in my heart, especially sarees. I love working with different materials, blending borders and colors to create something unique.

For example, I’ve attached a vibrant Kalamkari border to a traditional Kerala saree and given a Kanchivaram saree a new twist with a beautiful Kutch border.

I find immense joy in draping myself in sarees that reflect elegance and grace, and I design my pieces with that very thought in mind.

Being a part of social groups brings me so much joy. I love meeting new people, engaging with diverse perspectives, and forming meaningful connections with others who share a creative spark. There’s nothing better than surrounding myself with like-minded, inspiring individuals.

I’m excited to be part of this wonderful community and look forward to creating, connecting, and sharing beautiful moments with all of you. That’s me in a nutshell—creative, social, and deeply passionate about design, fashion, and friendship.
