I am Indus Diva - Prerna Sakhrani
A true Piscean at heart—romantic, dreamy, and wonderfully lazy. I'm a devoted fan of Shah Rukh Khan, and my love for Bollywood romances reflects my soft spot for all things dreamy.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Bangalore, I pursued my passion for human stories with a degree in Sociology, History, and Psychology. Life led me to Chennai, where I got married and became a proud mother of two beautiful kids.
Right now, my energies are dedicated to my family. I cherish every moment nurturing and guiding my children, wanting to be by their side as they grow. Once they are ready to stand on their own, I have plans to shift my focus inward—to rediscover my own passions and dreams that have been waiting patiently.
One of my biggest passions is cricket. I am a huge fan of the game, and it has become a shared love with my daughter, who has also caught the cricket bug. Watching the game together has become one of our favorite ways to bond.
My love affair with sarees began in childhood, inspired by my grandmother (daadi). I adored watching her gracefully drape her sarees and found joy in helping her care for them. Whether it was a school event or a college function, I would seize every opportunity to drape my grandmother’s or mom’s saree, embracing the elegance and tradition that came with it.
Today, sarees are my go-to attire for every occasion. Sareeing is more than just fashion for me; it’s a part of my identity that brings me comfort and pride, wherever I go.
